FRANK RUSSELL BURROW was the referee of the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships from 1919 to 1936. He also refereed many other leading British tournaments each summer, giving him a unique insight into the styles and personalities of the top British and overseas stars from the early days of lawn tennis through to the mid 1930s. Burrow watched the Renshaws and the Dohertys, as well as Bill Tilden, Suzanne Lenglen and the four musketeers. My Tournaments was published in 1922, and contains fascinating accounts of tournament venues, players and matches. This first edition is in good condition, and is offered in its original dust jacket.
