1938 Wimbledon Championships Final Day Programme

The official daily programme for Saturday 2nd July, the Twelfth Day of the 1938 Wimbledon Championships. The programme is in excellent condition.

On this final day of the 1938 tournament HELEN WILLS MOODY was due to face HELEN JACOBS in the Ladies' Singles final. Also scheduled for the Centre Court were the Ladies' Doubles, Gentlemen's Doubles and Mixed Doubles finals.

A day earlier America's DON BUDGE had completed the third leg of the first-ever Grand Slam by defeating Great Britain's BUNNY AUSTIN 6-1, 6-0, 6-3 in the Gentlemen's Singles final. The result of that match has been printed in this programme.
