1926 Wimbledon Championships Day 6 Programme

A rare programme from the 1926 Wimbledon Championships. The delightful front cover image shows an Edwardian mixed doubles partnership of 1926 reaching out to shake hands with their Victorian playing partners of 50 years earlier.

The Order of Play includes matches for Elizabeth Ryan, Dorothea Lambert Chambers and Jacques Brugnon. Match scores of later rounds have been neatly entered in pen and ink.

CONDITION: VERY GOOD (FOR AGE)

The programme is complete, but the covers have been carefully re-attached with conservation tape.
