THE 1965 WIMBLEDON CHAMPIONSHIPS took place over twelve days from Monday 20 June to Saturday 2 July. Play commenced at 2pm each day on all courts, and the Gentlemen’s Singles Final was played on Friday 1 July, when Roy Emerson successfully defended his title, defeating Fred Stolle 6–2, 6–4, 6–4. On the final Saturday Margaret Smith defeated the defending champion Maria Bueno in the final, 6–4, 7–5.

WIMBLEDON OFFICIAL PROGRAMMES are beautiful large-format magazines with tournament information, the daily order of play, results from previous days, feature articles and player photographs.
