Wimbledon For Sale!

£28.00

In 1922, The Championships were played at Church Road for the first time. However, the All England Club took the precaution of retaining its grounds in Worple Road just in case the new Church Road ground was not ready for play in June 1922.

In 1923, the old All England Lawn Tennis Club ground at Worple Road was put up for sale. This poster print is an enlargement of the original advertisement which appeared in London daily newspapers at the time.

This will make excellent wall decoration when framed, and a nice tennis-related gift.

Size: 24 x 39.5 cm (9.5 x 15.5 inches) approx.
