Mansour Bahrami delights Royal Albert Hall December 04 2014

Last night at London's Royal Albert Hall Belgium's XAVIER MALISSE edged out two-time French Open winner SERGI BRUGUERA in a match tie-break, following which an exhibition doubles match pitted PAT CASH and PETER McNAMARA against ANDREW CASTLE and MANSOUR BAHRAMI. The ever-popular Iranian trickster showed his full repertoire of skills including holding all six balls in one hand to serve out a game. How does he do that?

There is more to Bahrami than tricks though. Well into his fifties he is still capable of playing serious tennis to a very high level, and his two fastest aces came down at 113 miles an hour.

The Statoil Masters continues through till Sunday, and there are tickets available. Get down there if you can and see BAHRAMI, JOHN McENROE and some of the best players in recent tennis history while you still can.
